Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

couples walking down the street - she's walking and he's normally pushing / riding a bike (probably because he's been banned from driving) shouting the odd's at one and another = for God's sake put your energy into something productive instead of advertising your wasteful, useless life all over the street.

NB the *couples* come in many guises

The horribly busy roads of Bristol. It's like every household has bought another car in the last couple of months. There are a lot of angry motorists too, who aren't prepared to stop at zebra crossings and the pavements are clogged with vehicles parking. It's reached crisis point. One thing that really gets my goat is that there's no respite from the vrooming and swishing of vehicles. All f**kin' day.

People who drive with their fog lights on when it's not foggy. Especially on a wet motorway. Easily mistaken for brake lights through the spray.

The wet motorway bit - depends if visibility is reduced or not. If slightly reduced then I agree, but sometimes the spray on motorways is as thick as fog and easily reduced to <100m visibility:

Highway code:
Driving in adverse weather conditions.

226
You MUST use headlights when visibility is seriously reduced, generally when you cannot see for more than 100 metres (328 feet). You may also use front or rear fog lights but you MUST switch them off when visibility improves (see Rule 236). Law RVLR regs 25 & 27

2 junctions of the M5 was enough for me yesterday. Came off and headed up the A38 instead. Very scenic route (until Birmingham)

The designer of my car, who saw fit to put the fog light switch somewhere near my right knee, making it impossible to locate the switch whilst driving. My fog lights haven't had a lot of use due to this.
