You’d be forgiven for thinking that Valentines Day was some sort of Gay-only festival. For the first half-hour, all you heard about was how gay Aled was planning to spend the day with his boyfriend. As I understand it there are 5 “members” of the team: Chris – hetro (but single ‘cos he’s a knobber). “Comedy” Dave – hetro (though why he’s called Comedy is beyond me) - married Dom – hetro – married. Aled – homo. Tina – hetro - status not known. OK – the gay community on the show have a 20% representation, this is probably not representative of the real world. However, I have no problem with that, everyone has a voice. I just don’t understand why the first half hour revolved almost completely around the gay bloke. Not once did they ask one of the married guys what they had planned with their wives, or if girly had plans. We had to hear about how Aled was going to buy flowers, take partner to a restaurant, discuss presents but say how he couldn’t buy male grooming products as “he already moisturises!” It was not a fair representation of society. As someone once said, “I don’t mind talking and hearing about gay people, I just don’t want them ramming it down my throat!”

I'm amazed though you listen to a) Moyles at all because he's shit, but b) the show expecting a "fair representation of society". It's not Jeremy Vine, for feck's sake.

This morning I drove approx. 100 miles starting at about 0550, and I "flick" channels when I get bored and I came across it. As I was listening part of me was screaming at me to change channel, but another part wanted to listen, even though I could feel my blood pressure rising and was shouting at radio lol. Moyles was probably interested as the gay guy might have a better day than him (see above "single ‘cos he’s a knobber") lol
