Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Yes.

At least you aren't putting in your pocket and saving it for later.

That stupid advertisement for dry cat food. It's too incoherent to make whatever point is being made and claims that pet food achieves anything other than the feeding of pets just annoy me anyway.

I've said it before and I'll say it before

When you see that there is a new posting in the daily joke thread and you find out that it's just someone saying LOL or good one or PMSL or nicked. Bitterly disappointing.

People who send texts that can only be read in an accent I know they don't speak in - eg: I jus don know how she gon do that. PLEASE - you are not Eddie Murphy in Beverly Hills Cop: you come from Nottinghamshire. I can manage txtspk easily enough but it really throws me when my text messages seem to have travelled across the Atlantic.

Worse still, an American podcast (San Francisco?) I was listening to started talking about "t'internet" this week! Homies will be saying "Eyup" instead of "Wassup?" next...
