Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

CQC is suspended. Retired doctors can float back into practice without jumping through regulatory hoops provided their retirement wasn't due to being struck off the medical register. I'm still expected to do a fucking appraisal.

They appear to be binning all that apart from appraisal for currently practising (and therefore presumably the safest) practitioners. I'm capable of getting it done by the deadline (the end of this month) but am pissed off that I'm being discriminated against for not having stopped working, handed back my GMC registration, and got a bit rusty.

Vrap I was really hoping this would be dropped, along with CQC and QOF, it's an unnecessary burden. I've held off booking any for May/June in the hope they still might be postponed.

Laundry that acts as a rain magnet.

Sunny, blustery morning here in Weegieland - a braw drying day. I've changed the bedding so put the freshly washed quilt cover out on the line. Cue grey skies and rain.

Daily emails about reduced price airport parking. Not funny.
