Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

The guy I sit next to sneezes a lot. He always leans sideways and sneezes onto the floor rather than making an effort to cover his nose and mouth. I assume it's so he doesn't get germs on his hands. I keep thinking about all the disease soaked into the carpet surrounding him and it makes me feel ill.

People whom I *know* have nothing better to do with their time, and whose food and accommodation and methadone is funded by my taxes, whining about the length of time they've spent in the waiting room. Who do they think they are?

A bloke was kicking off in the main Boots in Brum yesterday because he was going to have to potentially wait 30 minutes for his methadone prescription to be ready :-(

The smoking cessation clinic asking me to prescribe fresh-off-the-marketing-copydesk nicotine replacement therapy gimmicks that haven't made it on to the computer formulary yet instead of the old tried-and-trusted patches, gum and dummies.

The "I'm a loser" TV adverts for the Health Lottery. I can't get any sense out of them at all.
