Eldest just been selected for college team for next year Typical - he was on the team in first and second year and they didn't get through to the televised round, ill in 3rd year when the team did get through and is now back to repeat 3rd year. Not holding my breath for them getting through again |

Watched last weeks, I thought my brain wasn't really processing at the start, in that "I don't know what question he just asked" way, but ended up with 23. Which turns out to be my average over the last five (ranging 21-27). Which, to be conceited about it, probably means I could beat at least one team each week. Does this just mean some of the teams are not very good, though? Or it's easier at home? And then, just because it was there, I watched (I presume rewatched) one from October 2014. It only rang the vaguest of bells, but I presume something must have stuck since I got 32. It was a notable slaughter, 250-35, which is right down there in the Pantheon of worst ever scores. (And whilst not wishing to give anything away, I did at the end of last weeks want to just give the losing captain a hug and tell them that really, they tried and just sometimes there are days like these. I hope their teammates did that.) |

The thing I find is if I sit an watch on my own, I do better, if I sit there with OH I go to pieces, god knows what I would be like in a real comp. I am usually getting about 15, which is ok, occasionally I get to mid 20s. I had a mare a few weeks back. 4 I was in shock for days. |
