Cheers SOD. To be fair, we could have squeezed another lap in for 23, which would have equalled what we managed with 6 last year, but nobody else wanted another lap, and I'd gone out with the intention of only doing a single, didn't have the head on me to come in and lap again, so hid round the corner until the countdown!

Ouch, today walking is difficult. Wish I had cut back for that. Ran for Adidas and thought we'd be doing it as a bit of a laugh. 50km and just about averaged under 40 mins a lap 3:18 I think....which was harder than I thought it could possibly be! Especially my last lap about 09:30 yesterday. Horrific, gut wrenching 39 minutes but amazing support and atmosphere. Well done everyone!

I came home from it and slept 15 hours straight despite the nextdoor block of flats having their annual party just outside my window. It was making my flat shake slightly but a jet taking off in my bedroom wouldn't have stopped me nodding off.

Our team of 5 became a team of 3 during the night thanks to 1 injury and 1 person just not feeling up to it.

Great event again, well done to all the competitors and spectators, I always enjoy the support around the campsite and out on the course. Didn't quite manage my target owing to a slight fuelling error, but there is always next year :) I hope that everyone here enjoyed it, even if they feel like they've been beaten with a very large stick like I do!
