Lovely to meet you SOD. Also great to meet HOD! It was another cracking weekend at TR24. Certainly the hottest weather I've ever run those sort of distances in so even more please to record my fastest ever 60KM at TR24. Great camaraderie and excellent organisation as ever. We had a fantastic time. Each year before TR24 I always thing that I might try a different event for the following year and each year I do TR24 and realise what an amazing event it is and want to do it all again! When do entries open for next year LOL

Fantastic weekend. 15th for team Southville Cinq Without Trace which was beyond all my hopes and expectations. We kept going all the way, all my team put in great efforts and I was happy with six pretty consistent laps on my part. Good weekend for Southville RC as well, 4th in the mixed 8s, 3rd male solo and great results from all the other teams and our female solo.

I even managed to be sleeping in my tent during the rain. (For which I feel no guilt after last year.)

Good to see Fetchies out there as well.

Team MT24 achieved our objective....beating last years Marathon Talk team who ran 25 laps. We managed to get in 26 and take the victory...26.2 laps would have been perfection, but we'll take 26. :-)

I had a great time. We didn't trouble the leaderboard particularly, and I struggled a bit this year, but I'll definitely be back.

I'm incredibly inspired by all the soloists, and always come home vowing to go solo one year, but I think I'd miss out on a lot of the atmosphere if I did, and I love the teamwork.

It's always good to chat to folk from here, as well...

Jovi - yes, I thought the team above us sounded familiar. You were 22 and a half minutes ahead of us, great running :-)

I think next year I might do the one format I haven't yet done - pairs.

Or maybe solo again. Depends on how my training goes for the Chelmsford marathon.

DeeGee - good effort from your team, especially with the depleted numbers.
