It's better in that it isn't making me cry or sick any more and the pain seems to have localised into the toe area itself instead of wending its way up the back of my lack like it did through the night. Swimming was off today though, as it hurt to think about walking from the changing room to the pool and then having to move my foot and what if someone stepped on it or bumped my toe on the way past in the lane :-( It's very painful still, but a sort of logical and "normal" painful so I'm less worried about it. I had to get help with taking Smallest to school this morning, though, and that has made me feel stupid. I expect I'll get over that too :-) Thanks, everyone.

When one of my sheep gets a sore foot I paint it with creosote. The foot that is not the whole animal. Seems to do the trick.

Dunno if that helps at all......

Ha ha, brilliant FR.

Poor Jen - it does sound sore, perhaps you should hobble into a walk-in centre? Or tap it to the next toe? It's what they did to mine when I broke it.

Please don't post a pic in the gallery when it turns purple/yellow, as it will inevitably do
