Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I read somewhere, maybe runners world that if you put your kit in cold water before putting it in the machine it stops the smelly bacteria growing. I have been doing that for months now, into a sink of cold water just while I am in the shower and it does work, the kit smells fine now. My favourite running tip of the year, been passing it onto everyone:)

Add bicarbonate of soda to your wash cycle. Costs less, does the same job - killing the bacteria that cause the niff. A teaspoon at the first fill cycle should do the trick.

Ariel do an antibacterial stain remover you add to your normal washing powder, I've found it works really well and makes them smell nice. I had a vest that smelled even when I got it out of the machine, it worked on that too!
