If that fails (which is extremely rare), a 60 degree wash does the trick. Not letting it fester in a plastic bag for a week if you really want to nip it in the bud!

In the meantime I have order some Vanish Powder Extra Hygiene Stain remover to pop in with them as recommended earlier on this thread. Hopefully that will help with the pong in the meantime.
