Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I find using the pre-wash option has stopped my smelly kit staying smelly. If that fails (which is extremely rare), a 60 degree wash does the trick.

Not letting it fester in a plastic bag for a week if you really want to nip it in the bud! :P

I've noticed that Halo seems to be more often available in packs of 6 bottles now, and single bottles are rare. Shame, but we'll still use it - it's great stuff.

Not so Lazytoad!
Fleecy, thanks will keep my eyes peeled for it :)
Postie, lol well by the time it arrives home its already festered under his desk all day!

Grid, not just me struggling to find it in singles then.

In the meantime I have order some Vanish Powder Extra Hygiene Stain remover to pop in with them as recommended earlier on this thread. Hopefully that will help with the pong in the meantime.

just to add another option Dettol have started doing an Anti-bacteria Laundry Cleanser which has worked really well for me and it should be more generally available

I was using Halo but my local Sainsburys stopped doing it and I think the Dettol stuff is better :-)

I've also been using Halo - including for my daughter's footie kit - and had never heard of the Dettol stuff.

Thanks Stu I'll give it a try!
