Since the Royal Mail helpfully moved the parcel office from the centre of the city to the edge of it I've sometimes run there, about 9 miles in total, there and back, always hoping that the parcel is something light and I didn't order dumbells or breezeblocks and forget.

Fierce and Fearless Fleecy
I run home with my pottery projects, my next thing to be fired might be a bit tricky as it’s quite fragile and will need lots of bubble wrap!
Otherwise: bank, shops, supermarket, station, station to pick up my car, uni sometimes, I used to run to school to pick up and drop off the kids. Most of my errands are run apart from a big supermarket shop. Oh, and I once ran to go see some participants in my last study, that was entertaining cos I got caught in a huge rain shower!

I have previously run to Homebase, bought a tin of paint and run home. I don't recommend it - I was too lopsided.

Oh yes, I run to the sorting office as well, it’s really annoying when you turn up and it’s a big box which is hard to run with!

I ran home from the fish shop earlier: a bag of clams, smoked mackerel fillets and a pack of smoked halibut. It’s easier to run with one thing in each hand, running lopsided is annoying.

I also run to the gym and my trampoline class. Basically, if I need to go somewhere within 2 miles I try to run it, I have a rule that I’m not allowed to drive anywhere less than 2 miles unless it’s a big supermarket shop.
I have a LOT of pound coins to take to the bank, I will probably cycle with those because I think I would struggle running with that weight...

I also run to parent teacher interviews, school assemblies, local meetings etc. Everyone basically expects me to turn up places in running kit, slightly pink and panting a bit

A couple of times I've won trophies in club awards or the road race league but not been at the award ceremony to collect in person and had to collect them on a club night. I usually run home from there. Running home with trophy in hand is like a lap of honour.

Sweetie - great use of flute lesson time - that made me smile.
You reminded me about post office visits - I do that sometimes and take my running bag.
I once did a 10-miler to include fishmonger at the end and ran with a wrapped fish in each hand, like Fleecy. I posted that on the running with loaves thread or whatever it was called.

I once ran to my Christmas din-dins.
I had to run there a few days earlier too, to leave a towel, change of clothes and toiletries.
