Great stuff, Chrisity!  minardi, I'm confident you'll get your streaking badge: you've certainly earned it. 8pm Breezy but still mild. Moon helping out in lighting the way around the lakes. A slog through deep sand blown onto the beach path and, once on the beach, long stretches of hard ridges of sand left by the tide - and some unexpected puddles it left behind. 4.2 miles. 25 for 25 |

Yes indeed, minardi, the wind had veered from W to N by the time I ran tonight. [8pm] but I got warm in the 1st mile through the built up area. A waning gibbous moon didn't pick out a friendly but bouncy GSD pup part way through. Thanks, GM - success is in sight! 26 for 26 |

Got my 28 day streak badge today (forgot I’d had a race on 30 Sept to start the streak!) Went to Boston parkrun- their 3rd birthday so it was fancy dress and local radio & a bacon bap van *party* |

8pm. Cold but little wind. Just 2.7 miles as a recovery job. Foot caught a rabbit hole near the sand hills but no damage done. Had the beach to myself and a bright moon in a starlit sky too. 27 for 27 |

Hope you're OK, minardi. Last night [Sunday]: 10 miles XC & beach, decent illumination from a moon in a cloudless sky and the first truly cold night since the scorching days of summer. By the Marina, 2 people & a distinctive aroma caught up with me by the end of the prom; and two disembodied women's voices caught me by surprise on the beach on my way home. 28 for 28. |
