I had been really disappointed that I couldn't find news of the Red Hot Chilli Pipers on the bands list but I'm told that they are there at the start - I hope they make more of an effort than the rubbish Proclaimers at the 10K last year!!! As for that Vegas finish, I'd rather crawl on my hands and knees on broken glass at the finish line to 'experience' it than jump off a bus and cheat.

Their course organisation better be a lot better than their communication has. Oh and I am still waiting on my flippin' t-shirt from them that they promised but have come up with numerous excuses not to send it out (I won their "Friday fun fact" comp on FB about 2 months ago!!!). UC I had seen the 4 hour mark previously and was a bit surprised by the "final" email instructions of 3.5 hours. Its the same as they said there would be no packs posted out, yet they they then decided to do a postal service of them for those who wanted to pay extra! This was after I booked a room to stay overnight. Bah! Moan over. I will enjoy the day with my fellow club mates and Fetchies metoffice.gov.uk
