Well, I will see how it goes and then might just start anyway. I ran the Meadows Half Marathon a few weeks ago and managed 14 miles two Saturday's ago so I am not worried about the distance just the training for the Marathon which is more my concern. Still what can you do? :(

I think as long as you remember the route after Portie gets more undulating, and take it easy at the start, hopefully you`ll be ok folks. Tortoise & the hare strategy :-)

LOL - undulating - I love that word - there is no such thing as undulating in Edinburgh!!!!! LOL :):):) It is just hill after hill in our beautiful historic city :) I love it :) Sitting with an ice pack on my side at the moment - strangely comforting :)

The last time I heard "slightly undulating" was at Devilla and it was anything but slight lol. I love running in Edinburgh. Rather that than Glasgow and thats shocking coming from a west coastie :-)

Ive not has my final details yet. Having to go into Edinburgh the day before is a bit of a pain. I think I knew this was just in denial :-(

hopefully this goes better than the R&R in Vegas recently - allowing those outside the time limit to get a bus & then get off 5 miles later to experience the thrill of finishing didn't go down well with most !!
