Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Okay, that's gonna help me sitting in bed tonight with him doing 30 and me doing 30 and trying not to laugh! :-)

Amazon's got some at the moment Monty - ranging from £24 to £38 (we've got the Power Plus £38 one). If you get one, I'd be interested to know how things go for you...I'm thinking of doing an article for my club's newsletter on training aids and this is one of them...case study?

I got one. Had to start on the "weakling" setting and managed to get the dial towards "iron lung" (that doesn't really work does it). I'm not convinced that it actually improved my running though.

Resurrecting an old thread here - I've had an awful stitch (both sides) lasting a mile or so in the middle of my last three races of Half marathon distance or thereabouts, not in shorter races, and had the powerbreathe recommended to help strengthen the diaphragm muscles. So I'm looking for shared experiences here please.
One fellow runner suggested actually 'running' with it in ?!? Has anyone tried that?

I got one as a belated birthday present. I'm onto Day 2, so don't know yet whether it works or not, but will give it a good try. I'm on setting number 1 at the moment, and that's enough! It made me quite dizzy!

Aha, good luck with it S&S - have you got it for overcoming stitches though?

No, lunaman, my stitches stay on the crochet hook!
I hope this thing will help me get up the hills though. Without actually dying, like I normally do :(
