Head torch battery life

I love the petzl rxp and battery change is the easiest I've ever known . that said I picked up a tiny lcd wind up torch in chamonIx which is bloody marvelous and great if things go tits up .(what if you fall and knack the head torch ) . funny enough think I saw a similar one in poundland recently.

Usually they state the expected battery life on the packaging - check the internet if you have chucked it away. Presumably it is an LED one, so battery life should be really quite a large number of hours. I'm sure I've read somewhere something about not using certain types of batteries with the very bright cree bulbs. I know my LED Lenser H7 specifically advertises "Versatile - can be used with rechargeable batteries", presumably meaning some others can't/shouldn't.
