Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

My new garmin 620 keeps saying memory full while I am running even though after each run I have been deleting the run? Does anyone else have this problem and know how to fix it?

Not this problem, but I had an issue with it not logging the distance when you are out for a run. A quick check of the firmware and it seemed they released an update in late june (V2.8 I think), so it may be worth checking if you are on this latest one or not.http://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=6589

Anyone had trouble changing the heart rate monitor battery? The cover is held on with 4 tiny screws and I've found it very difficult to release them, even with special screw drivers. The battery didn't seem to last long, so looks like this will be a recurring problem.

Poor design. I'll be checking out the competition next time I buy a sports watch.

Aside from the tiny screw issue there is a known issue with earlier versions of the HRM Run. If it has failed then definitely speak to Garmin support and ask for a replacement. I have and so far the new one is working fine.

Thanks. After much effort I managed to replace the battery, although not without breaking one of the screws. It's now working again.

Anyone know how to change the wifi network on the 620. We switched internet providers and I can't see how to switch to the new.

Cheers.

As far as I know you have to use the "Garmin Express Fit" program on your computer. So open the program, connect your watch using the USB charging cradle, click on the wifi symbol and select the network under the + button. HTH

Bingo! Thanks, Marvin. Has forgotten all about that as the PC I did it on originally is long gone.

My Garmin 'dies' after about 90 mins but when I put it back on the cradle it says there is still 18% battery power left. It's fully charged when I leave the house. Anyone else had this problem?

Got something to say?
