Yup, Sam's doing the Copthorne 200 this weekend for his birthday, so currently sat in a very dodgy Travelodge in Dorking feeling sorry for myself because I've got a stinking cold 😂

I have donuts, lemsip, and now the ingredients for a hot toddy.

He got to 100 miles, which is the furthest he's run all year, and definitely the most elevation (22,000 feet I think, in total), but now has a suspected stress fracture in his right shin 😞

He's also now coming down with the cold that I've had all weekend, so all in all neither of us are feeling brilliant, but we are at least heading home today.

Saw these monstrous looking beasts in Lidl, but wasn't brave enough to try them



That's a caramel crunch cronut, apparently.

I settled for a couple or three of these beauties instead
