It probably does, I would argue strongly for sausage, but bacon is quite close. My two favourites are:- a toasted bacon sandwich, brown sauce. Baked ham, that has been cooked with honey and mustard, the leftovers fried, again in a sandwich! What's your poison,bacon-wise?
