VERY impressive - I will settle for finishing a 10k when I get to V80 ;-)

This is the time of year to do it Homer. With the clocks change training is off road in Styal Woods, Carrs, Lindow etc. And you are the right speed to get a lot out of the training.

Tuesday + Thursday 6:50pm at the rugby club ready to run. First few weeks free trial then only about £40pa - and you save £2 on every race.

Great video, lovely reminder of a fantastic day, and even better because they didn't show me staggering across the line ;-)

Bl**dy H*ll Bob. you can get a family membership for less than that at Stockport. No wonder Stuart trains with us...........lol.

Shame you dont live a bit further North, Homer. You could save yourself some money. Sorry Bob trying to poach your perspective members......

Kwaka - indeed - I think that most of ours subsidises the rugby club ;). But we do have a bar and proper changing rooms. And subs include all cross country fees and some food, functions etc. Although our muddy "track" hardly compares with your own fine olympic oval.

Sauerkat - I'm sure that you're in the full DVD version ;)

Has anyone heard anything on the runner who looked rather ill that the ambulance came to?
Reckon that the race really needs chip timing as the website times are two minutes diffrent as it took that long to get across the start line!

I am hoping that it wasn't too serious in the end as there has been no update on his condition, didn't see him myself but was told by others that did see him that he didn't look well at all
