Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

think I'm going for vest and long sleeve, especially if there's a cold wind!

Well, that was a wee bit on the windy side!! Second 5 definitely more enjoyable. And a 10 mile PB for me.

Really well organised, and surprisingly the shortest toilet queues I've ever had to wait in! Think I might have my wee wine tonight. Nice technical T-shirt. Though I got a large and is far too big. Don't suppose anyone wants to swop?!

the wind really was ridiculous!

mostly well organised, but a shame about the missing marshal at a crucial point, quite a few people went the wrong way. and it seems like they only had medium and large shirts, so I know a load of people that got larges that they will never be able to wear!

well done on your PB Kim :)

Well done ladies, the conditions were a tad windy!! The only problem we could see was there was no marshal as you turned left after the jellybaby point and a couple of runners kept going straight ahead and had to turn back.

Didn't realise there had been an issue. Must have been sorted by the time I'd gotten to that point.

Odd that no smaller sizes; ladies only should have equated to smalls & mediums as opposed to mediums & larges. Hey, ho, can always try & shrink it!

Thanks. Down 7 mins. Only my second 10 mile race; but I'll take the PB!

Well done especially on such a hilly course.

I ended up going down and standing at the junction telling ladies to turn, there may well have bee a marshal there at some point early on but definately not for the last third of the racing pack.

I was one of the ones who carried straight on, until Shona roared at me from the top of the hill and got LG to stand there - we passed a marshal driving over that way once we were on route again - apparently he had to pick up a lady who had gone on even further, and there her race finished, as she didn't want to carry on. We said to the organiser at the finish, but he said he had put a sign out (definitely nothing there though) - that crucial a turn should have had a marshal regardless though. Shame, as I was really enjoying it until then, but still a good run.

Never saw a sign at that turn you are talking about.

definitely wasn't a sign. I just followed the people in front but I did worry it was wrong, until I turned and recognised the track (but I have done it before)
