Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

For the best Fetchpointing experience outside of London come and help us at Abingdon Marathon next sunday....

It's the next best thing to running the race itself :)

For anyone that needs it the address for Fetchpoint is:

163 Milton Park
Abingdon
Oxfordshire
OX14 4SD

It's outside LTI Metaltech.

If you are going to Fetchpoint or you have family / friends going there please do not drive through Abingdon town centre as it will be heavily congested due to the road closures and runners passing through. The quickest way to Fetchpoint will be to get on the A34, head south and come off at the Milton interchange.

Hmmm... do you know whether we'll be able to get there easily from London (by car) without getting stuck (M40 route)? Also what time is fetch point happening? We have it in our diary, we just have to ensure we drag our sorry butts out of bed in time and get on the road.

OK, I reckon we can get there by coming via Didcot without getting caught up in marathon-ness. Now we just need to know timings...and what to bring. Fun fun.

WL - Either M40 or M4 then use the A34 to the Milton (Didcot) interchange.

Not sure what time JJ and Co will be setting up but the leaders will start coming through Fetchpoint at about 9:45. It will go on till early afternoon.

Woo!

I've passed the details to Mr W. He'll be dropping us in Abingdon about 7.45am. Is it easy to get to Fecthpoint from there - presumably he should head back out on the A34? Sorry - I don't know the area at all!

Mrs W - Yes, once you are dropped off it would be easier for Mr W to go down the A34.

We'll be there for setting up at about 8.30. It says 8:45 in our instructions but I hate being late.

Arrive as soon as you like :)
