Hellen - I'm an if in doubt stand still sort of chap, I also think that my route to the end was probably a little too efficient as I arrived from the wrong direction. I know at the 19km check point I had done an extra mile. These things happen, the course was pretty good for running on and I think some improved markings plus better local knowledge and I would probably do this again. This means I shall either pop up and run it again or ride the course at some point.

The last checkpoint was mis labelled as it said it was just under 41km so about 5.5 miles to the end. We were on 26.5 miles there so I thought we would finish on 32 miles but we actually finished on 33 and only added about 100m max in that section. Sound like you could have list some distance in that part!
