TMW, there's Steppingley Step in November (LDWA) as well as Stansted Stagger in December. Nice slow marathons with plenty of walkers so you won't be at the back.
It'll be much easier next weekend H. Well, that's what I'm telling myself

Joking aside, really, you can be really proud of yourselves! Don't be afraid of your emotions, that is what life is about!!

I really must have a count up of how many marathons etc I have to my name. It's not that many tbh but I feel I should actually know.

To GF & NP, don't worry about letting your emotions show to anybody when you're out there on a marathon, you have to remember that it's one of the hardest things in the world to do.
GF, you were horrendously lost at Greensands & yet you still kept going until you finished & that was after you'd done Beachy Head the day before.
NP you started the weekend already on the back foot, following a weeks long conference in Copenhagen & yet you still managed to battle your way through the triple.
Both of you should be extremely proud of what you achieved this weekend, I know plenty of runners who would of just packed it in having suffered only half of what you two endured.
I know I never offer advice or much words of encouragement, especially as I had my own challenge to do & I was very focused on that, but I feel it's a privelige to know two athletes of your calibre & I for one am extremely proud of you both.
Now stop crying or you'll get me going & i'm a big tough northern bloke who doesn't shed a tear......:p

17 is my total. Pretty poor really, less than one for every 2 years off running.
