Did this at 2pm with about 20 others. Poor organisation including no km markers an unmanned water point & all stalls cleared away before I finished. No goody bag & no medal. Don't think the course was long though - I had it pretty spot on. Hopefully most of the money went to H.E.A.R.T. rather than f3 events.
Terrible race useless organisation and the actual distance was more like 10.6km
Mr. K.
New PB for 10.58km of 47.42 (10km was 45.19 - Is nice to know that HERE I `m nearly a sub 45min runner) As my school reports used to say..."Could do better"
42:08 on watch for 10km but course seems a bit out by 500m and so official time was nearer 44:00
No distance markers, late start because of poor organisation, no Vets prizes despite these being offered on the web site - but I loved running on a flat track beside that lake - I can't share the comments on the distance being wrong cos I don't have a Garmin thingy, but I can't understand how they could get it wrong when they could put their turning points anywhere - also it would have been a crazily quick run for me if it actually was 10.5K
Running Fish
struggled into the wind on the return legs, but pleased with the time.
