Hendo79 great race, heavy rain, cold swim, fell heavily on bike section after only 2 miles, pleased i managed to get back on the bike and finish, overall time was very poor, and a tad embarrising....but on the +ve's........ Inverclyde AC 6:40:18 6:40:18
JulesR Team entry and a good way of avoiding the 1900m swim and 90km bike that comes before the 'glory leg'. Trying not to race unless stupid head is attached. **UPDATE** Undulating course and heavy rain throughout but pleased that time was within target range of 1:28-1:29 (more by luck than planning). Got surprised waiting in transition by early arrival of team cyclist so stripped off many layers of clothes in record time. Not sure how Glasgow Half target of sub-1:24 looks after this but it's flat and of course it never rains in Glasgow (except for ALL of this Summer) Stirling Triathlon Club 1:28:00 1:28:34 1:28:34
