6 mile race.
Aim was 7.15mm.
Route was undulating and the weather was rather on the warm side.
1) 6.02m - 44:52(7:27/m) 165/185bpm 656cal
Actual time was gun to chip and 45.02 so 7.30/m.
Very busy at the start and congested until about half a mile in. I thought it was chip timing however it was gun to chip and consequently started too far back. Felt good and very strong at the end so obviously didn't push hard enough earlier on. I think I was sensible though, in the fact that it was very warm, undulating and I wanted to get around comfortably. I passed several people all the way around and especially in the last mile too.
