Run > Cross Country

Broxburn xc. My favourite course of all the xc season (all grass, and not too hilly :-)). I was actually thinking about not bothering and just watching given my energy levels recently, but I went anyway. I said to hillgirl before the start that this might be my last xc season as I had really struggled in the xc so far this season, not one run were I thought that was good, was knackered in all of them! Anyway, the race its self was such a surprise, I started at the back and though I would just try to keep the pace maker in sight, but then I was like oo I feel good, I might just move ahead, and it felt so comfortable all the way, passed a couple of people and sat in behind someone else I know not wanting to push on as surely I would tire, but nope, so in the second lap I went past a few more people. All very surprising I'm now wondering what I could have done, but also very aware it might have been a one off. Time will tell
