The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free.
But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient.
Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead.
Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?
To St. Ives on the Hewitt. Shorter ride than usual since I didn't want to be too late home for the village Feast event. Light breeze, but it wasn't quite the tailwind home that had been forecast. Initially 22/3C which felt cooler than the earlier run in the sunshine because it was very overcast until the return journey when it was mostly sunny and the temperature had risen to about 25C. Lots of flies, mostly thrips which were very annoying crawling all over me and my cycling glasses.

I hope you managed to get everything you wanted and there were no floods to avoid on your return journey
Flatlander
Notes now added. I did, thank you, and have partially stocked up on the food I had had to throw away. Definitely no flooding but many thrips.
