The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free.
But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient.
Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead.
Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?
Very late getting out for St. Ives because I struggled to get out of bed after 3 nights of loud talking from next door. Cold start, 2C, with a stiff 20+mph headwind on the way to St. Ives, changing to about 7C with a 15mph tailwind coming home.

I guess you're not looking after that neighbours cat. I hope you manage to sleep better tonight.

You're right about the cat. The cat is the neighbours' on the other side of me, in the bungalow. I'm not sleeping too badly but the loud talking stops me getting to sleep when I want/need to and not in my preferred bedroom. At least he's not talking until midnight/2am/3am like he did in the summer, this time he seems to finish by 11pm.

Late enough if you're trying to sleep though.
