Unfortunately I didn't stop my watch at the finish so you cant see that my time was 44:40. That's pb by a minute!
So, really pleased with the result but I wasn't at all happy before the race - there were no race instructions sent in advance and there is no postcode or directions on the website. Finding the car park was more by luck than judgement because I just looked for runners! Same with finding registration - which, it turns out is nowhere near the start. There was no information on how to get to the start and the people at registration were worse than useless. So, I went exploring and found things on my own!
If can get over all that, once you're actually where the race is held its all very good - baggage storage, changing, toilets. And the course is nice - round Willen lakes (so very much like Ferry Meadows). It's generally flat with a few slopes up and down from different paths and an underpass. The splits show how evenly paced I ran this.
Again, delighted with the outcome but they need to sort out the pre-race arrangements!
