Jenson Pretty sure that was my finishing time as I crawled over the line! It was another hot one and perhaps I went too quickly along the valley or just my legs were dead from the previous two days (emotional hangover of seeing my dad all smashed up after a fall on the Alwinton Round the day before?) because I struggled to run up any of the smaller hills along the tops...and was reduced to a walk near the finish too. Why oh why do I do thse things without training properly?! Ha. Overall, got to be pleased. Scenery is great, though I didn't spend too much time admiring it...more cursing myself! Lying in the beck at the end was again a wonderful treat. Atmosphere is lways tops. Was a bit 'star struck' and pleased to see that Grey Badger was right up there at the front again. Well done mate. Grey Badger 3rd time for this event. Lovely scenery. Another lovely sunny day at Bowderdale, maybe a little too hot. Ran ok (4th) but suffered a bit on the big hill where i let the 3rd place guy get too far ahead of me and couldn't catch him. Northumberland Fell Runners 1:25:00 1:25:00 1:26:00 1:25:00 70.66
