Jaggy What a fantastic race! The section on the beach was just stunning. The first half was into a strong headwind but it was great on the way in. Well organised, great supportive marshalls and superb sunny day. Running heaven! Definitely coming back next year. Big party in the hotel tonight rounds off a fab day. Oh and a PB by 2 minutes! The Belly Is Gaun Tae Get Ye Well outside expected time, a combination of the galeforce head wind and a lingering cold took their toll. Started well but the beach section drained me and struggled the last six miles. Scenery especially along the beach fantastic, but please can the wind be turned off for next year. Hope this race is retained and it should be added to everyone's to do list. It is a long way to go but well worth it. Ride 63 1:30:59 1:40:44 1:53:29 52.02
