Edinburgh AC Annual Queens Drive Races

Sun December 21 2008 Listed by Mr. White
3 Entrants Club PB SB Pred Time WAVA
Lexo Wind made this tougher, the back section was hliariously difficult and was quite glad Im the shape of a breeze block!. So Was happy with my time(unconfirmed) considering the conditions. Was a bit of a mad dash at the start and for a change I didnt go galloping off to quickly. So made a nice change overtaking people on the hill rather than the other way round. On the down side some bloke in front of me decided to gob into the wind and it hit me square in the face, mmmmmm pleasant!

If it wasn't so windy my chest was burning this would have been hilariously funny.... especially as the girl in front practially stopped dead at the top of the hill as the Brick Wall of Wind at Dunsape Loch kicked in.... I was virtually the same but managed to pretend I was still running - just not much forward motion at that point! Portobello RC, UKnetrunner 18:29 23:42 27:08 54.42
