Blister I shouldn't really complain since I wasn't even going to do it because of the pain I had in my hamstring a few days before. Ran the whole way with no pain in my hamstring though am still disappointed with the crap time, I was hoping for at least a minute quicker. The strong head winds didn't help at all and I was constantly worried about my hamstring. Also I did a mile run in the morning with a few sprints, which probably didn't help much. Saying that a lot of people seemed slower than normal. The lady who won is normally a 34m 10k but won in 36 minutes and said she was disappointed with her time. Another guy who I ran with at Cheddar wanted sub 40 too and didn't make it either. Apart from all that the race is very well organised and the course a very good, flat and 2 laps. But felt strange lapping some of the slower runners. There was even 2 mini buses that took runners from the car park to the race HQ, how cool is that. Finished 52nd out of 470, not too bad considering it is a very competitive race. TeamBath AC, Somer AC, Walton AC 37:24 40:42 40:42 64.86

Lacal Had a good run. Was very windy - and first km was a bit congested and slow - but overall, very happy with my time. Lovely flat course. Westville Athletic Club 43:45 44:57 44:57 66.64
