So... I think I'm venturing into the World of Garmin. I'm a pretty rubbish triathlete but the main function would be for checking pace on runs (eg not starting off too fast). I need something that shows actual pace as I am going along (if possible). I'm not sure if it is worth paying the extra for a heart rate monitor or for waterproof (to use in the pool). I have a little lap counter for the pool which is grand in any case, so the only reason I would want the garmin in the pool would be for races (I don't do that many) but I can always put my garmin on as I start the run leg (as my bike has a computer showing pace anyway). I also have pretty skinny wrists so not sure if the unisex would be too loose. Is there something other than garmin that's better? |
