Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

All the cunts who squeezed past the old lady struggling with her bag on the stairs until I got to her and helped.

Oh and what grinds my gears?

Getting home night after night and finding stupid flimsy leaflets for pizza delivery in my area. Sometimes kebabs and curry houses too.

I don't really want to get an ugly sign for the door but if I did, it'd have to say:

Don't put fucking nasty pizza leaflets through my letterbox. If I want a pizza I'll make my own. While we're at it; trees look better in the ground, rather than sliced up and made into cheap flyers.

Christmas food shopping :-(

Chaos in the shops, but really, do the whole family need to go??? Went to supermarket yesterday and saw many families of 5 and 6 with screaming kids etc,I'm sure the kids don't want to be there!

Ding Dong! Jambomo on high!
I am just going to supermarket Daz, no doubt it'll be the same today :( Yeah, I think a babysitter would be the answer for all concerned - kids don't want to be there and I doubt the parents want them there.

I wonder why supermarkets don't have a creche? Could kiddie pester-power make parents more likely to buy stuff?
I've been surprisingly tolerant in the stupormarket this week. Not like me at all.

I'm a little irritated by all the ordinary stuff that is in "for Christmas" packaging.

Our local Asda had a creche for a short while when it first opened some years ago. It was almost always empty. I think the hassle of getting kids signed in and out, and persuading them to stay with a stranger, wasn't worth the effort for a few minutes shopping. It didn't stay open for long.

I'm at my parents for Christmas now, which basically involves dying of boredom while they watch terrible TV. My dad had just put on a carry on film. Less than 5 minutes in and I'm longing for the sweet release of death.
