Morning all Lyrics oh yes I don't know who remembers two years ago I did my one and only dnf. It was the race I revisited last night. They had a tail runner and two years ago I was last and he kept talking to me, so much that I told him I wasn't doing the last lap. Anyway last night I set off and behind me heard him telling two women, I'm here tail runner for your entertainment!!! All I knew was I had to step on it and get away from him. Which I did and finished in 51 mins. It was 4.8 miles. I didn't see him on the last leg at all. I could have finished two years ago but he put me in such an uncomfortable place, I need to be in my own head space! @HazelnutCH for me it went very well 🤣. Hope your day goes well @alehouse enjoy your day What 2 miles d &d after taking granddaughter to school Why heavy legs it was enough Last hard last night really Last rest 28 12 22 |

Hi @HazelnutCH it's the LDWA100 this weekend - The Flower of Suffolk. Three of us (plus 1 supporter!) going down from Club to take part. Mixed feelings, but mostly excited. I would be feeling more confident had I actually trained, but such is life. |

@Wabo it's a tricky one being tail runner, you have to gauge your audience. Some people love a natter but others really don't! Looks like your chap missed the mark.
