Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Thank you very much peoples. The bit from Putney is easy enough, I know that... I just need to know the first 13 miles.

E! I'll fmail you... and for the record you are a bit of a murderer.

The Thames floods the towpath at high tide at Twickenham and Richmond. As far as I've run that, Twickenham-Putney is mostly not paved, and Battersea-Vauxhall is. I don't know why you're leaving the Thames to run through what look like some dubious bits of S London.

Nowt wrong with S London...

Do you particularly want to cross the river at Battersea Bridge and Albert Bridge - cos there is a path on the south side of the river between the two if you don't?

The path is closed between Battersea Park (is that Albert bridge?) and almost Vauxhall Bridge, basically past Battersea Power station

Putney Bridge to Kingston to Putney Bridge used to be me old long training route. It's all very easy to follow. Path is fine, though the bit between Hammersmith and Putney Bridges can get a bit muddy and slippery, the rest is generally good trail surface with a smattering of tarmac/concrete. I've been caught a few times with flooding near Mortlake - it generally does;t get too deep, and you can cut onto the road and then back onto the path again further down.

Note that at weekends this can get very busy with bikes and walkers, in particular the Kingston-Twickenham and Putney-Kew sections, the majority of whom dawdle across the pathway and even when they see you, don't move from blocking the path. Have fun...

Not that bit Chris. I mean the bit before the park where Max crosses both bridges and runs about half a mile on the other side...

It's only the 0-13 miles that I need help with.... I know the rest of it *very* well.

Cheers people.

Now, for the next part of this, please email me naked photos of yourself.
