Just a question, but why would you WANT to wear your garmin or other GPS device as your "normal watch" anyway? I don't wear my running kit to work either! (The article seems to be obsessed with whether you can wear it as a watch or not!)

I sometimes wear my 210 as a watch - particularly at the gym. It's more rugged than my other watches so I don't worry about it getting broken / smashed while I'm lugging stuff around the garden. I've also been known to wear it to work when I'm planning to run to the station, or similar, otherwise I'd forget it.
