Not at all Seren. It’s great we take different experiences away from music.

I found this via Timmy Mallett's Twitter (really). Thought I'd share it here. mixcloud.com |

mixcloud.com A punky friend of mine just posted this link on Facebook, she got it from Timmy Mallet! It’s a link to Manchester Piccadilly radio from April 1985, a 2 hour Easter special program hosted by Terry Hall. I’ve not yet listened to it, I thought it might be appreciated here though. |

I’m 2 songs in and gotta go out but will go for a walk tomorrow and listen to all of it. Like Terry I listened to Disco Tex at youth club, but we had I Wanna Dance Wit Choo. Terry played Get Dancin’; also a great track.

'Last Words', BBC Radio 4 today. The piece includes Terry Hall talking about his experiences as a teenager, his life in music, and later, when he was diagnosed with bi-polar disorder. TROSaracen referred to his 'difficult' earlier years in a post soon after Hall's death. Remarkably frank and disturbing disclosures by Terry himself. bbc.co.uk From 2:20 to 9:34. |
