Moderateness, and the understanding thereof

I think moderate is marathon pace. It is a pace that we are rarely allowed to run at now we have embraced the twin peaks of polarised training. i.e. so slow it is boring or so fast you think your heart will explode. It is a little treat. You deserve it matey.

Moderate is Reasonable + 30s/mile.

Reasonable is Brisk + 30-45s/mile.

Before we can answer what moderate paceis we need to agree what threshold pace is. For me, threshold pace or tempo pace would be around Half Marathon pace. Moderate feels like it should be slower then MP, so maybe around HM pace plus 6-075 seconds
