Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

longboat, this is getting tough. Have to remind myself that I have actually done 66 press ups. Awesome for a runner with arms that dangle down by my side :-)

Welcome Hamish and Glen :-)

Jingles lol at the flopper comment think we will all get to that stage at some point.

exflyboy it will come to a point where the times will drop. But those 25ish seconds still hurt.

Keep it up guys.

Be positve folks, remember when we started 3x10 seemed hard work and 3x20 seemed distant and impossible and now were doing double and more :) 25 will be a piece of cake.....i'm thinking best to do them before all the food though!

Did a few this morning 3 x 2..... and this morning I realised my shoulder was aching and couldn't think why - then I remembered. I don't hold out much hope for further progression with this one for me.

Well done to all you peeps out there sticking with it!

H84 I hope the press ups were proper manly ones. We need to make sure standards are maintained :-) Seriously well done on giving it a go. Many girls cant do any press ups, clearly lise being an exception. Still have not decided whther I go for 3 X 23 tonight. Might do 3 X 22 for a few evenings until it becomes 'easy' or should that be 'less hard' :-)

About This Thread

Maintained by Dogtanian
Start on day 1 with 3 x 1 press up. On day 2 move to 3 x 2 and keep increasing by one every day. If you fail to do the target for the day then you try the same number the next day, only increasing when you have done the session properly. The Marathon talk challenge is to get to 3 x 100 push ups.

There are no real rules except all three sets must be done in the same session though. No going to wash your hair/walk the dog in-between sets:-).
