Hi um. Yes she went for Canon 2000D in the end and is loving it. (I'm also loving it too - may have taken almost as many photos as she has.) We managed to get away for half-term so there were lots of opportunity for great photos. I expect lenses will be the next thing. |

Excellent choice VJ, I have some Canon equipment from a few years back, kids have prohibited spending time and money of late. That must be a decent lens Um for the price drop, is it white? |

Yes lammo - well, white with black stripes. If it's this 'cheap', makes me think either they're desperate, or there's a new version III coming out soon? |

Wow! Yeah, either they want to make sales or they will be coming out with a new version!

I have a lot of fun with my humble Canon Powershot SX620HS Wifi. I love the fact that it has its own inbuilt Wifi, so I can transfer photos to say an Android wherever I am. It is great for long range photos of the likes of seals etc. Don't use it much for selfies, people. |

100-400mm um? Nice choice. I have the 400 5 6 and have been sitting on the fence about swapping having seen the reviews. Happy shooting! |
