OK the bloke who runs the website hasn't responded so I am taking that as a mesage to do wtf we want. I will create a baton in the next week or so (all ideas welcome via fmail) and I think we do the same as we did on the original and keep the identity of the baton a secret at all cost.

I've had an idea about the map John. We could set up a Fetch account for the baton- I'm sure we can get round the e-mail address obligation somehow.
The person with the first baton leg is given the password. They run, and log in as the Fetch Baton, and create a map on the Training Centre routes thingy. This route should be made public, and the Fetchie can put in as little or as much detail as they wish, stopping the route as close to their home as they like. On passing on the baton, they also pass on the password, so the next person can run, log on as the baton, log the run and add their leg to the route etc and then pass on the baton and password. At any time people can see the route the baton has taken via a link in the header of this thread - they'll then have an idea of where the baton is and possibly be able to volunteer to help in this thread.

OK I am sort of with you DeeGee. I assume there is some kind of mappy thing on here that I haven't really noticed due to my technophobic ways. If it's easy to use then lets do it. I will set up the account now and call it Bilbo Baton

Train - Routes - Add a route. Have a bit of a play with it now, if you fancy. This way, Bilbo Baton can also play Conquercise.
It gives a link to the route underneath the map, which can be copied and pasted into the Header for all to see. Just make sure that as you save the route you click "Make Public" so we can all see it.
