ancient, that stretch was actually better going this year than a couple of recent ones. I didn't get anywhere *near* losing a shoe. (Note to self: lock laces are great for a lot of running, but not for this one). |

Yes, the half way point was very tame by recent standards. Overall the mud wasn't tooo bad, I ticked along quite nicely although my time was way slower than last year ![]() |
