Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Obviously, now this unseasonable winter snow's started falling from the sky, everyone round here's scared that supplies will run out, so they've panic-bought Morrisons bakery and booze aisles.

So now folk are panicking about the bread and booze shortage.

We're alright, we've got yeast, so we can do bread at short notice, although I think the cold snap will be over before the booze is ready.

That's confusing, isn't everyone around you on the wagon and on a carb free diet? Seems to be the case round here. Wheat is Poison, apparently.

Bread machine with plenty of yeast and flour - I should be ok on that front. And as for booze it's vodka & gin everywhere and not a drop to drink courtesy of being a dry-afferleet. Closest I'll ever get to being an afferleet too!!!

I've bought quite a bit of stuff today. But it was all stuff we needed and I didn't panic. Not a bit. Maybe tomorrow.

bread machine will produce bread for breakfast. There may have been a slight shortage of bread mixes in Sainsbury's today.
