Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I ran this, but my result isn't listed. Maybe there were problems and they still need to fill in the gaps. Or maybe it's just me :(

Very well done on the PB and especially the GFA nayan!

I don't find over-enthusiastic marshals motivational, but as long as they are enjoying themselves I'm absolutely delighted they are out there volunteering!

Loving the understated black T - will undoubtedly get some wear out of that.

I'm an Abingdon drop out, and I'm sure that part of the reason for the high DNS rate is that entries for popular races open very early (8-9 months in advance) and often fill up within a few days. 3/4 of a year is a long time for things to happen to stop people racing.

That's true. I just always thought that there was a waiting list for Abingdon so it should have been possible to transfer tickets and save yourself someone's rather than DNS.

So am I *watch*

I think a big part of my training for this one will be getting used to running without music!

Train with music then, on the day, set out at your target pace and see who you are running with. If they look nice have a conversation with them and you won't need music! I did this at Chester last year and had a great laugh all the way round.
