Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Problem is I can't afford much more physio!! Weird thing is it basically only affects my running. I can swim, cycle, dance like an eejit, you name it but I can't run :(

That IS strange. Maybe you can just pirouette your next 5K :-)
I'll still get that physio details to you....have you tried the acupuncture/ alternative route? I'm a bit iffy on the logic behind it but I'd prob try anything once if I was at end of my running tether.

I live out in Alford, so if anyone's around the Aberdeenshire district I'm happy to come and pick a few people up if needbe.

I checked out prices for club a while back.
Off peak which the weekend is its £9.20 for an hour for 2 lanes.

To book the track they assume you want all the bells and whistles so its £240 ish from memory, they agreed with me at the time their seemed to be a glitch in the pricing system.

What you do is book sprint track outdoor x 4 which gives you the use of all 8 lanes for an hour for £36.80

I tried acupuncture when my ITB hurt and the pain went straight away it was like magic, but as soon as I started running again a few days later it came back straight away. barefoot and trail running is what has sorted me.

The barefoot didn't seem to work for me in the end but I think once the physio has put things back where they should be I'll try the barefoot again :)

Hey mrs shanski, you look quite familiar - you seem to do most of the races I do so it's not that surprising...
